Wedding plans so far!

So far we know very little about the wedding plans! We do know that we are going to go back to Oregon to get married so that Jared's family can be there. But so far here are our plans:

October 7th, 2006 will be the Big Day!
We plan on getting married on Cannon Beach. The picture is of Haystack Rock on Cannon Beach. this is the area we would like to have the ceremony performed at. This will be a very informal ceremony. We will have a small Cake and Coffee reception afterwards.. Do not know where yet. I am still in the process of finding out what places there are in Cannon Beach to have a little reception afterwards, adn I am still waiting to hear back from a lady about performing the ceremony but as soon as I know I will let everyone know!

The Proposal

Well some people want to hear all about the proposal so here it is.

For Christmas I noticed that there was a huge box under the Christmas tree for me from Jared. So Christams morning we got up at 7:00 with the kids to open presents. I proceeded to give the presents out to the boys. After about the 5th present, I realized hey, where did that box go! Jared just laughed and would not tell me!!

So after all the presents were opened, Here came Jared with that big box! I opened it to find a Beautiful Teddy Bear (Picture will follow later) and a wrapped box. I opened the box to find NOTHING!! It was empty! I looked at Jared and laughed and asked him where was the gift inside the box!

Jared told me to look at Sassy she had soemthing to tell me. For those of you who do not know Sassy is my Spoiled Baby Pomeranian! I called her over to me to see that she had a note taped to her collar! I took it off and read it and it said "WILL YOU MARRY ME?"

I looked up and Jared was on his knee with an engagement ring and placed it on my finger! Of course I said "YES". Now we are here planning our wedding and we can not wait to spend the rest of our lives together!!

The start of the wedding blog!

I started this blog to keep everyone up to date on how the wedding planning is coming along. I have been busy researching everything. Not being from Oregon myself, it is making it a little difficult to know what to look for and where palces are. I might recruit some of our wonderful friends and family to do some research for me from time to time!
