Hotel at Beach

I am going to be doing some research to find out if we can block rooms at hotels at the beach. I know Jared and I are going to stay the night at the beach on Friday night before the wedding, and we have had a couple of friends and family members mention they would stay there also, so as soon as I find out the details of getting a discount on rooms I will post for everyone to see. We will be staying in Seaside as Cannon Beach does no have hotels for just 1 night. There you have to book 2 nights.

Cakes

Well here are a few of the cakes that I have found and liked. We would like the cake to be a 2 tier cake. Seeing that we will be flying home after the wedding we do no think we should have that top layer to save. Plus we are going to have another reception when we get back after the honeymoon. We will just have that cake be the one we save for the 1st anniversary. I think we want the larger cake to be chocolate with Bavarian Cream center and the top to be vanilla with lemon filling. Thanks Aunt Donna for taking on the cake.
I think I am going to make my own bouquet. I want something simple, as not to take away from the beauty of the beach. So I will be looking into that.

Bedroom Makeover

Well here is what I did all weekend. Saturday Jared had CERT training, so I stayed hme and painted o0ur bedroom. It was blue. I wanted a more romantic bedroom, and got this great inspiration from Aunt Donna's bedroom. Thanks Aunt Donna, we love it! We have a cano0py bed, soo I have hung curtains around the bed to envelope the bed. We love it so much we think we will never leave the room now!
