Finally, I can have my weekends back. Will finished his last wrestling tournament yesterday. Hopefully I will have somewhat of a break for a couple months.
It would be nice to be able to relax on the weekend, keep my house clean, go for a motorcycle ride when it is nice outside, go out with friends when i want to. All without having to sit in a stinky gym all day!!!!
I will admit that I miss the wrestling tournaments when they are over, but I am always glad to have a few months to myself!

Our lives lately...............
Well things have been pretty busy around here. Will had wrestling for Kids Club for the last 3 weeks. He qualified for kids state, but went and fractured his ankle, so we were unable to go to state this weekend. But we are back on for next weekend. He is wrestling in a big National Tournament in KC. Wish him well.
This last week, my running constantly, nonstop has caught up with me. I got sick on Tuesday with a cold, and it turned into Bronchitis. Here I am on Sunday and not completely better yet. I missed 3 days of work last week. I hope to feel much better tomorrow cause I NEED to go to work!
Jared is doing good. He is going to school 2 nights a week from 5-10. He is super busy!
Austin just joined baseball so we have that starting.
The Boxer is doing good. He loves to fight with the baby kitty Thomas. Glad that Thomas likes him cause if he didn't, poor Atticus would be a bloody mess!
Well I am going to go to bed so I can go to work tomorrow. I will update later this week.

Thursday we head to Wichita for 4 days as Will has made it to State for wrestling! He took 2nd last week at league and then 2nd at Regionals today! We could not be more proud of him!!

Got my laptop back!!
Woohoo!! I got my laptop back finally! Then when I got it back I decided taht I wanted a new updated one! So I sold my other one to my mom and got a new one! It has been such a pain in the ass to get it set up!
I guess it did not help that in the middle of setting it up, I had to set up my old one for my mom and then my niece Kayla bought one and I had to set hers up!!
But we are all up and running and I am back online!!!

WE ARE BACK!!!
We are back from our trip to the middle of nowhere!! HAHA!
We are so proud of Will! This weekends tournament had 24 teams in it and WIll took 8th place. He went to the championship round!! We could not be anymore prouder !!!!

Out in the midle of nowhere!!
Here I sit in a hotel in the middle of nowhere!! We are in Newton Kansas! Will has a wrestling tournament this weekend. I have never been here before so I did not realize how far out there it is! We are about 35 miles from Hutchinson. I have been there before with James, but never to Newton!
Will is nervous about the tournament cause it is supposed to be the hardest tournament yet. How he does tomorrow and Saturday will tell how State will go for the kids! Wish them luck!!

OUCH!!
Well the klutz in me has come out once again! Yesterday I fell down the stairs int he back of the house and tore the ligaments in my ankle!! Man it hurt to!!
I am on crutches for a bit and go back to the dr on thursday to see ig it is getting better or not!
All I know is MAN my armpits hurt!!!

Catching up!
Well it has been a few days since I posted! Life got int he way and I had other things to do. Thursday I was out with a headache!! I ended up going to the Dr and having to get shots for the headache! After sleeping all day and night I woke up Friday morning to no headache!! WOOOHOOO! They did start me on some new medicine for the headaches. Hopefully that will work with no side effects this time!!
Yesterday Will had a tournament in Louisburg! He did AWESOME!! He went 3-1 for the day! Really good!! We are so proud of him and his wrestling this year! If he keeps it up I am sure he will go to State!
This weekend upcoming we have a 4 day tournament in Newton Kansas! We leave on Thursday and come home on Sunday! Hopefully our team will step up and bring home a bunch of medals!! Keep the boys in t=your thoughts!!!

FREAKING HEADACHES!!! UGH!!
I am so tired of migraine headaches!! I have had this nagging migraine for 3 days now! I am to the point of cutting my head off!!
The DR had me on Topamax for the migraines. It was supposed to keep me from having breakthrough migraines. The 2 months I was on it , I felt great. No headaches to speak of. But I did have 1 side effect from it. Numb fingers and Numb Heels of my feet!!
At first I was able to handle the numbness, but it got so annoying that I quit taking the meds about a month ago!!
Well I guess I am going to have to go back on it cause I am having these darn headaches again!! I just wish I did not inherit these from my mom!!

Stop me before I cave!!
OH MY GOODNESS! I found another boxer today that needs a good home. He is 5months old and SOOOOO cute! I want so bad to call about gettting him, but I know that is CRAZY!! I need to wait until Atticus us a little older and trained before we embark on another boxer! They are the hyperist little shits! But gosh we have grown to love little Atticus so much! He is definetly part of our family now and a BIG part!!

I hate Mondays!!!
UGH!! I hate Mondays!! It really sucked going back to work today after not working for the holidays!! I wish I could win the lottery and not have to work but when I want to! HAHA! Yeah right fat chance!
Jared started school tonight. I know he is going to be so tired tomorrow. AS his class is at 73 at night til about 930 Then he has to get up at 445 in the morning for work!
I have a headache from hell and can not get rid of it. I quit taking my medicine that the DR put me on cause it was causing me to have numbness in my feet and fingers, but now I am getting the damn migraines again! I am starting to think that the numbness is a good trade for the headaches! At least with the numbness I am not in pain!!
Well tomorrow is Tuesday, the kids go back to school, maybe we can go back to a normal routine, one of the kids not staying up all night playing video games! Will has to take his exams that he missed due to the snow day before winter break! Hopefully he will remember the things he studied!!

Lazy Day Saturday!!
Today is going to be a lazy day for the Alton house. Jared and I went out last night with a one of my friends from High School. We has another friend in town from Nebraska and we decided to go have a few drinks!! That was fun being able to look back on all our fun times! Bu this old lady is not used to being out so later. I am tired this morning!!
Well play offs start today and Jared plans to watch them ALL DAY!! I do not know if I can handle football all day long! Guess this would be a good time to read my Classwork and do my next exam!!

The new goal for 2009
Well 2009 has officially started and I have decided to start updating the blog to keep up with family and friends.
Things here in KS have been pretty hectic. We got a new puppy for Christmas. His name is Atticus and is a Boxer puppy! We went to Reno, NV to see Jared's Mom, Step-Dad, and Grandma for Christmas. It was really nice to see them. The boys had a good time. Austin always has so much fun with Grandpa Greg.
Will is a junior this year and we are starting all the College scholarship apps. I am so not ready for that! He is also wrestling varsity again this year and doing AWESOME!! He has had 2 meets and took 1st in one and 4th in the other. We are really proud of him!
Austin is just the same Austin. Not able to do any sports since he has bloody noses so bad, He wanted to wrestle, but it would be to much of a problem with his nose!
Jared is working his new job at the USDB with me and is loving it. He starts back to school on January 6th. He is ready for that and can not wait to be done.
As for me, I am taking a college course for work in FOIA. It is the second job I was doing for work and I am the backup when we dont have anyone, which seems like it has happened alot lately. We finally have someone hired, hopefully that will last. But I do get to go to Vegas in March for training. Can not wait!
Well I better get off here and get some work done!! Talk to you all Later!!!
