Marriage Retreat

Jared and I got to go to a marriage retreat put on by the company this weekend. We went to an indoor waterpark /hotel in Kansas city. It started yesterday morning and went until noon today. It really helped Jared and I with knowing how to communicate better. There were a few issues that we had but had never talked about and this really made us communicate better.

We were allowed to have our waterpark tickets until 10:00 P.M. tonight, so I invited my sister and her son Jacob to come up and play in the park with us. William had stayed the night with her so we thought it was the nice thing to do. We had alot of fun, Jared played with William and Jacob in the Basketball pool. We had alot of fun going down the slides. But boy am I tired now!!

Tomorrow, Jared and I go to pick up my dress. I can not wait to get it home and try it on! I hope it fits good and I really like it! I will post pics after I get it! Boy, I can not wait until October gets here. I wish it were tomorrow~

DRESS SHOPPING IS DONE!!

WooHooo. My dress shopping is done...I think! I found a dress Saturday and purchased it Sunday. I have to go pick it up This Sunday. I can not wait to get it and try it on to see if I really like it. It is a little poofier than I wanted adn the train is a little longer, but I can deal with that! Here is a picture of what it kinda looks like.

Wedding Expo

Today Jared and I went to teh wedding expo in Kansas cxity. I still have not found a dress that really pops at me. Jared likes one of the forst dresses that I tried on, so we will see if I get that one or not. I did bid on one at ebay so I am the highest bidder so far. 1 hour left and then I will know if I won it or not. I will post a picture if I do.

But, at the bridal show we did see a cake that we love!! It has sea shells on it. They look so real. Then the lady told us they are all made out of chocolate. We thought that was really cool. Here is a picture of it!

Jared went on Friday and got his tattoo finished. We really like it. He has to go back in 3 weeks to get any sopots filled in that need it. Right now it looks really good so no fill in is needed. But we will see. Here is a picture of it.
