2008 in Review!!

What was the highlight of 2008 for you? Being able to spen time with my family and friends

Did you lose any friends? Yes, 1. But that was their decision! I am stll here for them no matter what! Life just took us in different directions!

What about gain any? yes!!

What did you do for your birthday? I can't remember! Nothing I think!

How old did you turn? 34

What do you think was the best movie in 2008? Did not see to many new movies!

Did you move at all? Nope

How are you different now from the beginning of the year? I am more confident in myself and the choices I make!

Did you get in any serious trouble? not really.

Did you read any good books? yeah

What did you do in the summer? Went swimming with the kids and just hung out!

Has your looked changed? If so, how? I am trying to let my hair grow out!!!

Do you think this year went by super fast? sorta.

Did you get your haircut this year? yeah a few times.

Are you looking forward to anything in 2009? YES!! lots of stuff this year has an exciting start.

If you could describe this year in one word, what would it be? Different

Did you get in any fights? If so, with who? ME? NEVER!! HAHA I would love to beat some bitches ass though!

What was the best album of 2008, in your opinion? no idea.

Did you attend any parties? sure did.

Was there any big family drama for you? Our family always has drama, I have 5 nieces!!

Lazy Day Saturday!!

Today is going to be a lazy day for the Alton house. Jared and I went out last night with a one of my friends from High School. We has another friend in town from Nebraska and we decided to go have a few drinks!! That was fun being able to look back on all our fun times! Bu this old lady is not used to being out so later. I am tired this morning!!

Well play offs start today and Jared plans to watch them ALL DAY!! I do not know if I can handle football all day long! Guess this would be a good time to read my Classwork and do my next exam!!

Well I am going to go make some biscuits and gravy for my husband! Will post more later when I post about Will's wrestling accomplishments!!

The new goal for 2009

Well 2009 has officially started and I have decided to start updating the blog to keep up with family and friends.

Things here in KS have been pretty hectic. We got a new puppy for Christmas. His name is Atticus and is a Boxer puppy! We went to Reno, NV to see Jared's Mom, Step-Dad, and Grandma for Christmas. It was really nice to see them. The boys had a good time. Austin always has so much fun with Grandpa Greg.

Will is a junior this year and we are starting all the College scholarship apps. I am so not ready for that! He is also wrestling varsity again this year and doing AWESOME!! He has had 2 meets and took 1st in one and 4th in the other. We are really proud of him!

Austin is just the same Austin. Not able to do any sports since he has bloody noses so bad, He wanted to wrestle, but it would be to much of a problem with his nose!

Jared is working his new job at the USDB with me and is loving it. He starts back to school on January 6th. He is ready for that and can not wait to be done.

As for me, I am taking a college course for work in FOIA. It is the second job I was doing for work and I am the backup when we dont have anyone, which seems like it has happened alot lately. We finally have someone hired, hopefully that will last. But I do get to go to Vegas in March for training. Can not wait!
